Villa Capri is owned and run by two of the nicest guys you could meet. Salvatore Ercolano has managed successful Italian restaurants since 1984 where he began the the famous MEZZA LUNA in New York. From there on to Hong Kong’s VA BENE, and finally he made a home in San Diego where he started the Gaslamp Quarter’s enormously successful and ZAGAT award winning restaurants BELLA LUNA and PAPER MOON. Having left the downtown scene, Salvatore then focused on his other success; La Jolla’s newest rave, the ‘COME ON IN’ bakery, where it smells too good to stay out! Salvatore knows how to culminate all the important ingredients in a restaurant, and deliver them to you, day after day, night after night, week after week. Consistently good! Master Chef Antonio Viscito hails most recently from the beautiful gourmet restaurant SCALINI’S near the Del Mar Racetrack which he helped open in 1987.
